What is the working principle of the computer spiral spring machine?

The wire is squeezed and rotated by one or several pairs of rollers, pushing the wire forward, and forming the wire through the limiting and guiding action of the upper and lower ring rods. The steel wire continuously advances in the respective slide grooves of the upper and lower ring ribs, and the size of the coil diameter can be controlled by controlling the position of the upper and lower ring ribs. The pitch rod is a vertical paper movement, and its function is to form the thread angle of the winding; by controlling and adjusting the position of the pitch rod, the pitch of the spring can be controlled. After the winding is completed, the steel wire is cut with a cutter; among them, the mandrel is used as a support for the cutter to cut the steel wire.

The spring machine can wind cylindrical compression springs of various shapes such as variable ring diameter and variable pitch through a combination of wire feeding rollers, upper and lower ring diameter rods, pitch rods and cutters. For mechanical spiral spring machines, since there is only one power mechanism, each action rod is completely linked by working mechanisms such as gears, cams, clutches, etc., the structure is relatively complex and the adjustment is time-consuming. Whenever the spring type is changed, the cam shape usually needs to be trimmed. The operator's technical level is relatively high, especially the adjustment range of the wire length depends on the size of the fan gear, which limits the free length of the spring. .When the unit gear returns, the wire feed roller needs to be disengaged through the clutch, which not only increases the noise but also reduces the wire feeding accuracy during the winding process.
